The scene is frozen in time as you, an unseen observer, enter the hotel.
The man has been shot.
Next to him is a gun and a note.
Blood spatter aligns with the shooting having occured in the same location.
It looks like a suicide, but is it really?</div>

Biometrics are now emerging among the most popular and most effective cyber-defence mechanisms for customer-authentication for banking customers.
By utilising the physical characteristics that uniquely identify each individual, biometric technology is ideal for security authentication, either standalone or as part of a multi-factor authentication solution.
Columns ban, based in the Cayman Islands is one such bank leading the way. They using biometics (iris recognition) to authenticate customers and their online transactions.
Iris recognition scans the eye and the unique pattern within a ring-shaped region that surrounds the pupil of each eye. While there have been some teething issues, iris recognition has been shown to be much harder to hack by creating 3D models than fingerprinting or facial recognition. There is however the same issue as other biometric identifiers, which is, it has trouble with live tissue recognition.*

Court reports.
Alison Henshall has been convicted for the theft of $300,000 from the Buxton branch of the ANC bank on July 15 last year. Henshall (34), a bank teller at the branch at the time, maintained her innocence throughout the trial. The money was stolen from the bank's safe, during what police say was a highly planned out-of-hours operation.
The bank's manager Mr Malcolm Rutherford (37), discovered the robbery when he arrived at the branch early the next morning. $10,000 was recovered hidden in the boot of Ms Henshall's car and a further $1,000 was found in her daughter's backpack. The defendants fingerprints were retrieved from the safe, the access code for the building and the disabled security system. The remainder of the money has yet to be recovered.

Alison Henshall has died while serving her sentence for the theft of over $300,000 from the ANC Buxton branch, where she worked, in 1998. Only $11,000 of the money was every recovered. Henshall, who passed away suddenly last week from an aneurysm, always maintained her innocence.
We spoke to Henshall's now 28 year old daughter Heidi, a security and biometrics student
Heidi:
I was only 3 years old when my mother went to prison, changing my life forever. I will continue to campaign for the justice she deserves but never saw.
My mother was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed the community of people her work at the Buxton ANC gave her, up until it took her life.
My mother was framed, she never took that money and she definitely did not know where that money was. Why do you think it's never been recovered? What happened is a travesty of justice and must be made right!

Over the years all appeal's made by Henshall's legal team have been overturned or disallowed due to overwhelming forensic evidence against her. In the months leading up to the theft there were rumours of an affair with bank manager Malcolm Rutherford, who Henshall's supporters believe is really guilty. Rutherford was questioned at the time but according to sources, his goodstanding within the church and support of the local priest stopped investigators from looking into him further. However, within a year of the theft, Rutherford had left his wife of ten years and disappeared overseas.
Alison Henshall's funeral was held on Tuesday and was attended by fellow ANC Buxton branch employees who have long maintained their support of her.

<div class="text-panel info centre"><h3>Instructions</h3>To piece the story together and solve the mystery you’ll need to navigate Janus House and find the clues.
<button class="accordion">Navigation and Layout</button><div class="panel"><p>You can visit rooms in any order.
There are 3 floors. Each floor has a main foyer or landing that allows you to navigate around that floor and to other floors.
Some rooms are only accessible via other rooms or passages, or won't become available until you have the key (be sure to click on any keys you find to collect them).
To navigate to new rooms or spaces either click on the navigation links or click on any yellow doors.</p></div>
<button class="accordion">Clues</button><div class="panel"><p>Clues are not in a linear order. It doesn't matter when you reveal them, only that you pay attention to their contents.
There are clues in all of the rooms you will visit. Look out for the arrows and any coloured areas of the room and click on them to investigate. There may be more than one clue lurking in the same place, especially on screens.</p></div>
<button class="accordion">The Sidebar</button><div class="panel"><p>Once you're in the house - click on the hamburger menu in the top left of your screen. This will open the Sidebar, which will give you access to floor maps and help features.</p></div>
<button class="accordion">How does it end?</button><div class="panel"><p>A final room will become unlocked once you have visited all the available rooms. This will hold some final clues and options to confirm your suspicions and exit the experience.
You can also exit the experience at any time from the help menu in the sidebar.</p></div>
<button class="accordion">Help?</button><div class="panel"><p>What if I get stuck? How do I keep track of everything I’m finding out?
We recommend that you keep a notepad and pen handy to jot down any important information as you uncover it. There is also help menu in the sidebar which will offer options to help guide you if you get confused or stuck.</p></div>

<p>That's right it was 4 people! A Reunion of the ANC Bank you might say.
Florence Choy (Fiona Chen) and Charles Rubinall (Cameron Roberts) worked at the ANC bank with Malcolm Rutherford (Oscar Freeman).
The Housekeeper, Liana Furness, is Malcolm's ex-wife.
Heidi Henshall is the daughter of Alison Henshall who also used to work at the ANC Bank. </p>

<button class="accordion">Why?</button><div class="panel">
<p>Malcolm Rutherford framed Alison Henshall for the theft from the ANC Bank in 1998. He had been having an affair with her, which their colleagues Florence and Charles were suspicious of. He then abandoned his wife, drained their bank accounts and ran away to the Cayman Islands where he'd been living a charmed life ever since.
Earlier this year Alison Henshall died in prison just before release. </p>

<button class="accordion">How?</button><div class="panel">
<p>In broad summary
They sent a blackmail letter to Malcolm luring him to the hotel on this date.
A welcome note took Malcolm to the bar for a free cocktail, where Heidi served him a cocktail umbrella with Chapel 1130pm on it.
In the Chapel, Malcolm was confronted by Florence and Heidi. He recorded a confession at gunpoint. Then, while Liana accessed Malcolm's room and turned the television up loud to mask the sound of the gunshot, Charles in the guest room next door made a noise complaint that coaxed the Night Manager upstairs and away from the chapel.
Heidi and Florence then killed Malcolm and posed his body in the Chapel.
Heidi used iris recognition from Malcolm's dead body to access Malcolm's bank on his phone and transfer funds to the charity they've set up in their name. (JRC)
Then, in order to create an alibi for the Heidi, Florence and Liana (Charles' phone calls alibi him) - they were each seen by the Night Manager (leaving for the night, ordering a hot chocolate, in the kitchen).
Once the alibi had been established, Charles made another call to the Night Manager about the desperate noises he could hear coming from the Chapel. As the Night Manager approached the Chapel, Liana played the sound of a gunshot through the Chapel Speakers (from the back of house hallway). When the Night Manager arrived in the Chapel he finds Malcolms body - complete with note. </p>

There are 3 floors. Each floor has a main foyer or landing that allows you to navigate around that floor and to other floors.
Some rooms are only accessible via other rooms or passages, or won't become available until you have the key (be sure to click on any keys you find to collect them).
To navigate to new rooms or spaces either click on the navigation links or click on any yellow doors.
<h4>Clues</h4>Clues are not in a linear order. It doesn't matter when you reveal them, only that you pay attention to their contents.
There are clues in all of the rooms you will visit. Look out for any coloured areas of the room and click on them to investigate. There may be more than one clue lurking in the same place especially on screens.
<h4>How does it end?</h4>A final room will become unlocked once you have visited all the available rooms. This will hold some final clues and options to confirm your suspicions and exit the experience.
You can also exit the experience at any time from the help menu in the sidebar.
<h4>Help?</h4>What if I get stuck? How do I keep track of everything I’m finding out?
It's recommended that you keep a notepad and pen handy to jot down any important information as you uncover it.
